the hotel had a charming view, which is about the only redeeming quality, considering the access to the town was horrific with those steps, and don't even get me started on the old-fashioned decor. i mean, who needs a coffee maker in the room? i almost gave a good review but just couldn't. what a letdown.

Fabulous views over the city from the pool area and a great atmosphere in the lovely grounds. The large bedrooms were comfortable, with updated bathrooms that made for a pleasant stay. The breakfast offered was tasty and varied, allowing for different options each morning.
